To showcase its commitments towards liquor ban, state of Bihar is planning to form the world’s longest human chain, in which over 2Cr. people will participate. The chain will be around 3000 km long, informed Bihar Chief Minister (CM) Nitish Kumar.
The human chain will be formed at 10 AM on January 21st for half an hour. Human chain in North Bihar will cover 1,821 km and in South Bihar it will be 1,186 km long, connecting all districts.
The Chief Minister further said that, government officials, teachers, students above class V and members of NGOs will also participate in this human chain.
The human chain will help to support liquor ban enforced in April this year, which will continue till March 22nd next year, CM said.
